MCFF Tying Night: Nomad Fly

The fly from last night's Mid-Coast Fly Fisher's tying meeting was an all-species fly from the pacific north west called the Nomad. Originally a trout fly, but scaled up and taught by member Carl Sanders to work in the warm, Florida saltwater. Definitely one to tie in various sizes!

I met some of the folks from DrinkTanks at the ICAST and IFTD Show this year. They were nice enough to send us a couple of their stainless cups and a 64 oz DrinkTank with the Keg Cap kit. Haven't had a chance to fill it with beer yet, but they got a lot of coffee use when we evacuated for Hurricane Irma!! So far we're loving them!!
