Took a spin around the perimeter drive at Ravine Gardens State Park today. We'll definitely be back to spend more time when the plants flower in the spring! And, the office was closed, so I still need the stamp for my State Parks Passport! . #RavineGardensStatePark #RavineGardens #StatePark #FLStateParks #StateParkPassport #garden #FLOutdoors #FloridaSprings #spring #pond #artesianwell #footbridge #Palatka #TheSuburbanAngler

Tried a new-to-us doughnut place this morning. Warm, fresh-made, vanilla doughnuts covered with your choice of toppings. We went with the half-dozen Autumn Selection. Wasn't bad. . #DuckDonuts #DaytonaBeach #LPGABlvd #doughnuts #donuts #doughnutshop #picnicbreakfast #coffee #coffeeanddonuts #TheSuburbanAngler

Breaking in my new Corn Cob Nation 2021 Pipe of the Year tonight. Love the volcano-shaped bowl and the fiery acrylic stem, but I may have to try putting a slight bend in it. . #CCNPOTY2021 #NationPipe2021 #CornCobNation #PipeOfTheYear2021 #MissouriMeerschaum #corncobpipe #tobaccopipe #pipetobacco #balconyview #flygear #TheSuburbanAngler

I was a few magazines short of the recommended number. I'll still have to reload between stages, but this should, at least, get me through a full stage. . #mags #Glockmags #almostenough #reload #Glock #glocksportshootingfoundation #GSSF #precisionsports #FLOutdoors #GAOutdoors #gear #TheSuburbanAngler

Last week I had the opportunity to tour the last surviving antebellum mansion in south Florida. Incredible Florida Frontier history dating back to the 1840s! Unfortunately only the walls and columns of the Gamble Plantation house are original, but the Florida State Park has replaced the millwork and flooring in the house and is working to collect appropriate period furnishings. I won't be able to return for their Annual Fall Event (Nov 7), but it's on the calendar for next year! . #GamblePlantation #HistoricStatePark #antebellum #mansion #FloridaFrontier #FLStateParks #FloridaHistory #southwestflorida #floutdoors #historical #history #TheSuburbanAngler
