Beautiful day for Blue Ridge Trout Fest!!
Could not have asked for a more beautiful day for the Blue Ridge Trout Fest!! It was a great time to catch up with old friends, make some new friends and hand out some Suburban Angler stickers!! Oddly enough, no one wanted an autograph!! Mark your calendar for next year, Trout Fest really is an excellent time!

How's this for a near perfect South Georgia bluegill pond? The "No Fishing" sign was a huge disappointment!!

Truck Tow Mirrors
I got the moose antlers installed on the new truck tonight. I've never been one to anthropomorphize a vehicle, but I suddenly want to call the truck "Marty". "Sorry Folks Parks Closed. Moose Outside Should Have Told You." "I'm On A Pilgrammage To See A Moose."

Hannah Hart from FWC Marine Fisheries Management at MCFF
Hannah Hart from FWC Marine Fisheries Management gave a very interesting presentation on algal blooms in the Indian River Lagoon at last night's MCFF meeting.

Testing the ThermoWade Staff
Got out for a little bit this afternoon to do a trial run with the ThermoWade staff. A wading staff that measures and records air and water temperature along with time and date. Such a fantastic tool for your fishing log book and to aid in species targeting and fly selection! We'll get a First Cast posted as soon as the weather is conducive to filming!
