Line Cutterz, New Product Showcase ICAST 2019

They might not replace your nippers on fine tippet, but I can see these Peel and Stick Line Cutterz being very handy for warmwater and saltwater flyfishing. Particularly stuck in a convenient spot on a fishing kayak!

Testing the ThermoWade Staff

Got out for a little bit this afternoon to do a trial run with the ThermoWade staff. A wading staff that measures and records air and water temperature along with time and date. Such a fantastic tool for your fishing log book and to aid in species targeting and fly selection! We'll get a First Cast posted as soon as the weather is conducive to filming!

Fly Hat!

Ever have those times when you know you really won't be fishing long enough to carry a whole flybox?

The One Pound Range!

Managed another largemouth on a popper today! According to the Release Ruler he was about 12 1/2" long, which clearly put him into the 1 pound range! I've never been one to carry a scale while fishing, so it's nice to have an easy to carry ruler that gives approximate weights!

Poppers on the Office Pond

It was warm and sunny today so I thought I'd give poppers a try on the office pond. I figured I'd be catching bluegill, so it was a pleasant surprise when this gorgeous largemouth slammed the topwater!! Beautiful markings and a solid 11" on the Release Ruler!!

The Wind was Pretty Strong Today...

Here's the rest of that crappie from the eye shot. Crappie eyes remind me of a cat's eyes when the pupils are dilated. The wind has been pretty strong again today, so casting the 2 weight TFO Finesse was a bit tough, but it got the job done!

Gorgeous Green Sunfish

Yesterday wasn't spent entirely on instruction. I took a few minutes and made some casts to a hole under a tree where I caught this gorgeous green sunfish and a few of his buddies!! Look at those colors!!!
