A great night of fly tying and camaraderie at MCFF as Carl Sanders demonstrated 5 different ways (and a couple variations) to add a weed guard and tail support to our flies. After the demo he led the membership, new and tenured, in tying a simple Crystal Schminnow in which each tier added the weed guard technique of their choice! Many thanks to Carl for taking on the fly tying leadership role and the monumental task of reorganizing the club's tying materials and tools!!
