I've always been a silicon ear plug wearer, but I picked up these Howard Leight electronic earmuffs recently to give them a try. I really like the concept, and particularly being able to hear what's going on around me when I step to the line, but I'm not totally sold on them. The volume adjustment isn't as smooth as I expected.
