Lake Wauburg at Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park. The 254 acre, trolling-motor only, lake is shared by the State Park, the University of Florida and a few private homes. The wildlife was incredible, but the fish, for me, while plentiful, were uncooperative. Actually did a bit of fishing early this afternoon and managed to bring a few Warmouth to hand as the distant thunder rolled over the lake.
