The Fly Fishing Show Atlanta 2023

Tomorrow morning kicks off the first 3-day long The Fly Fishing Show in Atlanta! I'll be doing my typical show-floor coverage, so follow along, drop comments and ask questions (and, like the pictures, it really does help). I'll do my best to respond and find the answers. And, if you're at the show, stop me and say hello, it'd be great to meet you!

On The Fly Outfitters - Brunswick GA

We took the camper for a quick trip up to the Golden Isles area of Georgia for Valentine's weekend. Since we were nearby, I wanted to check out On The Fly Outfitters, a cool Fly/Falconry/Outdoors shop in Historic Brunswick that I've been following on IG for a while. These guys are definitely keyed in to their area and have all the gear you need for a successful day in the outdoors. Get by and see them if you're around! I added a new fly shop t-shirt to my collection and dropped off a few Suburban Angler stickers for the door. I will be sure to check in with them next time I'm up there fishing!

Catching White Bass

Throwing it back this week to catching white bass in the suburbs with my buddy Steve Hudson. It's right about this time of year that they're running! My friends at Alpharetta Outfitters are hosting a White Bass Fly Tying Clinic Saturday morning, so make sure you get signed up for that!

Beautiful day for Blue Ridge Trout Fest!!

Could not have asked for a more beautiful day for the Blue Ridge Trout Fest!! It was a great time to catch up with old friends, make some new friends and hand out some Suburban Angler stickers!! Oddly enough, no one wanted an autograph!! Mark your calendar for next year, Trout Fest really is an excellent time!
