 I had to check out The Saltwater Angler while we were in town! Very friendly folks and lots of good gear packed into a small shop!

On The Fly Outfitters - Brunswick GA

We took the camper for a quick trip up to the Golden Isles area of Georgia for Valentine's weekend. Since we were nearby, I wanted to check out On The Fly Outfitters, a cool Fly/Falconry/Outdoors shop in Historic Brunswick that I've been following on IG for a while. These guys are definitely keyed in to their area and have all the gear you need for a successful day in the outdoors. Get by and see them if you're around! I added a new fly shop t-shirt to my collection and dropped off a few Suburban Angler stickers for the door. I will be sure to check in with them next time I'm up there fishing!

Tampa Bay On The Fly

While in Tampa, I had to seek out a fly shop and Tampa Bay On The Fly inside the Minnows & Monsters tackle shop is top notch!! They've got a fantastic fly tying section (with weekly tying classes!) and a growing assortment of rods, reels and gear. I hope to come back and visit again someday, but I really look forward to seeing them at IFTD in a couple months! If you're in the area stop by and tell them I sent you!

Young Outfitters

Drove up to Palatka this morning to check out the Blue Crab Festival and ended up discovering a small fly shop! Young Outfitters opened in January of this year on Palatka's Second Street and carries an assortment of kayaks, rods and reels (fly and conventional), flies and lures, and a selection of hats and tshirts. They also offer classes and gear rentals! Check them out if you're ever in the area!

Flounder Creek Outfitters

We took a ride down to Titusville this morning so we could check out Flounder Creek Outfitters! The owner, Nick (great name!) wasn't in, but I got to visit with his mom for a bit. A great shop that carries in-house tied flies, more tying materials than you could shake a hook at and a wealth of local knowledge! Check them out if you're in the area!!

I never miss an opportunity to visit a new flyshop!

I never miss an opportunity to visit a new flyshop and hurricane evacuation is a fantastic opportunity! Tonight I stopped in to Tallahassee's Cape Harbor Outfitters and met the manager Lauren. If you're in the area check them out, it's a great little shop with a passionate and knowledgeable staff. They were even kind enough to donate some stickers to the upcoming giveaway!!
