We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Koreshan State Park last week! A beautiful park with a fascinating, well preserved history, right on the banks of the Estero River. I'm a sucker for a good natural history museum and the Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum did not disappoint! It's one thing to see shells cleaned and polished on display, but I found it fascinating that the Shell Museum had many examples of the residents of those shells alive and interactive!
